Award for Exemplary Building – Car park Heidelberg
Deutsche Industrie- und Parkhausbau GmbH was awarded the prize for Beispielhaftes Bauen (Exemplary Building). dip was engaged as the general contractor for the award-winning construction of the INF 507 car park in Heidelberg.
The prize was awarded by the Baden-Württemberg chamber of architects. The Baden-Württemberg chamber of architects has awarded the Prize for Exemplary Building for many years to raise awareness for building culture in an everyday context. The goal is to find exemplary architecture that is an integral part of everyday life and to recognise architects and builders for their concerted efforts. As a result, the INF 507 car park in Heidelberg made the perfect candidate for the prize.
After the awards ceremony, Markus Müller, president of the Baden-Württemberg chamber of architects, commented on the topic of sustainability in an interview with the Staatsanzeiger: “As architects, our continuing task of creating structures that make sense carries significant potential.”
