The most modern car park in Cologne goes into operation on schedule

I/D Cologne – the new quarter in Cologne’s Schanzenviertel – creates space for around 7,000 jobs. By 2026, eleven buildings with around 160,000 m² gross floor area will be built. The start is the multi-storey car park implemented by dip with around 900 parking spaces.

West and east facades with around 5,000 plants on 2,000 m² form one of the largest facade greening in Germany. The irrigation takes place with collected rainwater via an automated, resource-saving irrigation system. Clinker brick facades on the gable ends with stylized “windows” made of expanded metal take up the industrial neighborhood buildings.
