On June 30, after almost two years of construction, the new shopping centre on Uelzen’s historical market square in the city’s centre was inaugurated. Ten stores with a sales area of nearly 8,000 square metres and an integrated split-level car park are located in the Marktcenter, which already boasts full commercial occupancy.
Jürgen Markwardt, the mayor of the city of Uelzen, expressed his enthusiasm: “With its vast selection of goods and services, I’m confident the Marktcenter will become a local attraction in no time.”
dip was responsible for the construction of the car park, which provides 300 free permanent parking spaces and 376 parking spaces for Marktcenter customers.
