As part of a Europe-wide tendering process, dip was awarded the contract to construct the P1 multi-storey car park at Heinrich Heine University. As the general contractor, dip is also responsible for the further planning of the building.

The Heinrich Heine University (HHU), with its 5 faculties and currently around 32,000 students, is the focus of Dusseldorf as a university and science location.
The former parking deck P1 on the campus was demolished due to its poor structural condition.

The new building will create around 748 parking spaces for employees and students on 5 floors. Full-storey ramps with a ramp incline of max. 12.5 degrees and a parking space width of at least 2.55 m offer contemporary comfort. The car park roof is statically designed for a later photovoltaic system. The facade consists of new aluminum trapezoidal sheets that are perforated over the entire surface and coated in colour.
