To improve the parking situation for students and adjacent owners, a new parking garage was planned on the grounds of the TU Darmstadt.
In the fall of 2013, the old, ailing car park was torn down and, in eight months, dip built a new car park to take its place. With floor space of 12,960 sq. m, it provides parking for 462 vehicles on 16 half-levels.

The sophisticated architectural design of the façade features aluminium-panel curtain walls which allow daylight to illuminate the car park interior. Modern LED lighting also adds to the attractiveness of the bright parking area and well-lit stairwells so car park users can park safely, navigate quickly and easily while also feeling safe.
