ThyssenKrupp Quartier car park, Essen
In nine months, Deutsche Industrie- und Parkhausbau GmbH built a turnkey car park for the new ThyssenKrupp Group headquarters in Essen – the ThyssenKrupp Quartier – which opened in 2010. Designed on the basis of a split level system, it accommodates over 565 parking spaces on 22,800 square metres.

The Quartier buildings are situated around a central water axis and boast an impressive, first-class steel and glass design.
dip adopted these high architectural demands in its construction of the car park for employees and visitors to the Thyssenkrupp headquarters. By using steel elements for structural and design purposes, dip built an aesthetically pleasing, functional building that harmoniously blends in with the other architecture located in the ThyssenKrupp Quartier.
