Frankfurt airport interim bus gate

In connection with the redesigning of gate B, a connection to the west and south was needed for the duration of the fit-out and renovation work. In 2007, dip completed the project after six months of construction.

The interim bus gate served as a waiting and boarding area for travellers providing them with a level of comfort typical of an international airport and optimal passenger service during the period of transition. The building was connected to the main terminal 1 building via two connecting bridges equipped with stairways and lifts.

The building housed the passenger handling area with a connected two-storey service block building (mainly equipped to meet the building’s technical needs), additional sanitary areas, a Travel Value shop and a bar for travellers waiting for flights.
