Car park N69 of Audi AG in Ingolstadt

Deutsche Industrie- und Parkhausbau successfully carried out another project for Audi AG – one of the largest international automobile manufacturers.

In 2012, dip completed a parking garage for employees with a total of 4,282 parking spaces on the factory premises in Ingolstadt. The new storage space urgently needed in the course of a factory expansion was realized by dip in two successive construction phases. This meant that the first parking spaces could be used quickly.

In this project with a total floor area of ​​almost 100,000 m², 15,000 m³ of earth not only moved enormous masses, the scope of the material also shows the size of this project:

  • 2,410 t steel construction,
  • 1,400 t reinforcing steel,
  • 18,000 m³ of concrete for foundations and ceilings and
  • 12,000 m² grating facade

have been used for the construction of this new employee parking garage.

Five entrances and exits and a parking space counting system ensure smooth traffic. There are also four entry and exit ramps on each level. This makes it much easier for employees to drive into the parking garage, which is particularly important at peak times.

The parking spaces can also be reached effortlessly and comfortably on foot – this is ensured by six stairwells and three elevators.
