Aldi car park in Mülheim an der Ruhr
Due to the rapidly increasing number of employees, a parking garage was required as part of the expansion of the headquarters. The car park has around 960 parking spaces on four levels. Access is via two spindle ramps.
In order to be able to optimally utilize the existing area, the planner decided on a trapezoidal building floor plan with rounded corners. Even this unusual floor plan could easily be realized with the dip construction system.

The architectural highlight is the facade made of anodized perforated sheet metal facing the office buildings. The overall view of the individual panels simulates a forest like pieces of a puzzle. For this purpose, each facade element was individually manufactured and assembled with the greatest precision. Dimensional tolerances in the building construction had to be limited to well below the permissible dimension. This requirement was also mastered with the dip construction system.
