Car park P14 at Stuttgart Airport

The continuous growth of Stuttgart Airport also brought with it the demand for more parking spaces. In 2018, dip implemented the new P14 multi-storey car park for the airport with over 1,500 spaces on 6 parking levels.

With the long-distance bus terminal (SAB) integrated on the ground floor, the parking garage becomes a mobility hub. Long-distance buses as well as local and regional transport are served on 18 bus platforms.

The access is quick and easy via a double-barreled spindle ramp. A facade made of anodized 3D perforated sheet metal elements hugs the steel structure of the building and the ramps like a metallic skin.

The new building is not only planned economically, but also technically and optically. Depending on the incidence of light, the facade shimmers in various shades of gold and brown and gives the building a high-quality look. On the south side of the metal facade, the three staircases step forward and structure the 210-meter-long structure.
Parking spaces with e-charging stations and XL parking spaces with a width of 3.50 m complete the range of parking spaces. Passengers can reach Terminal 3 via a pedestrian bridge at the level of the first parking level.

With two entrances and exits, the multi-storey car park can cope with a larger crowd during the holiday season. A car park roof protects the guests on the top level from the weather. The integrated bus terminal is designed for F90 fire protection requirements. The foundation was carried out using large bored piles.
